Final 1/3: Still Creamy with some leather coming in.

This is a beautiful cigar. I am no stranger to AJ Fernandez blended cigars but i have only had a couple from his actual brands. After this i am definitely going to keep exploring his portfolio. I am just blown away by how enjoyable this cigar is. It is medium in strength but has just so much good flavour. The sweetness mixed with the creamy cedar notes are just perfectly balanced with the slight red pepper note that is upfront at first but quietly moves to the back of the palate throughout the smoke. Going into the final thrid i am enjoying the smoke as much as i have the entire cigar.

I just can’t say enough how much i like this cigar. This is AJ’s tribute to the glory days of Cuban cigars and it shows. What a great experience this is I definitely recommed picking up any cigar from his portfolio! As far as the pairing goes they didn’t do much to affect each other. The whiskey was mild and sweet and was slightly overpowered by the cigar. I would say unremarkable both are good but together they didn’t really work.
