I brought the cigar from Havana House Cigar Merchants in England in a pack of 4 with the Broadleaf Maduro version init. The Connecticut versions come with white band showing a T-rex wearing a golden crown and the name of the cigar in yellow and black. The Broadleaf Maduro band is very different from the Connecticut. The band is grey and white with the T-rex wearing the golden clown and the name on the band as changed to a gold and black. All so on the band there is a eye on it which I would imagine is the T-rex.

Pre Light Examination:
The Jas Sum Kral Tyrannical Buc Magnum Connecticut is a short cigar, that has a shiny yellowish tan wrapper with a well defined vein structure. The cigar is solid in the hand and is finished with a well applied cap and i am loving the band.
Riste the owner noted, in a Facebook post, that he opted to go with a simple band on this cigar to keep the costs down. Quote taken from Facebook.
The pre-light aromas on this cigar offered sweet tobacco and a sweet nut off the open foot.
The cold draw brings notes of pepper spice on the lips, and natural sweetness, earth, and fruit on the palate. Now time to light the cigar up.
I went with a triple flame torch like i normally use on all the cigars. I started to warm the surface area of the foot. Rolling the cigar between my fingers as the heat of the flame brought the foot to a even orange glow. The first puff immediately opened my nose on the retro-hale with a burst of what i would say is black pepper.
The Jas Sum Kral – Tyrannical Buc Magnum Connecticut was a terrific cigar and i am glad I had the chance to revist it. I am starting to like the small ring gauge cigars but this cigar very well constructed that it gave me no burn issues, less a slight wave in the burn. The flavors and aromas transitioned the 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Starting with a heavy burst of black pepper leading to an array of notes with a natural sweetness, earth, cedar, nut and leather. It did deliver some biter notes midway but soon went. The ash fell only once during the time I spent enjoying the cigar. Coming into the final it burned a bit hot to the touch so I used my cigar poker that CigarKurt made me.
If you are a new cigar smoker i would definitely say this a Connecticut that will catch you guard and is not like many Connecticut cigars I have smoked.
Final thoughts on cigar are it burned well with no construction problems, ash was a nice dark grey in colour. Time spent smoking the cigar was 50 minutes in total which wasn’t bad for a short robusto.
